Mission & Passion
Computers and technology have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From exploring computers as a kid to helping modernize systems and operations within my family's small business as an adult, I’ve always enjoyed learning how technology works and finding ways to make it more useful, practical, and easier for people to understand.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship—where I was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate for my involvement and leadership—I returned home to help manage and oversee operations at my family’s oceanfront campground and RV resort. During that time, I implemented and upgraded a wide range of computer systems and technologies, including Wi-Fi networks, VoIP phones, cloud platforms, our website, software systems, and digital workflows, helping simplify operations and reduce costs.
When the family business was sold in 2022, I found myself naturally continuing to help people with technology—first informally, then professionally. What started as helping friends, family, and local businesses with everyday technology challenges eventually became Tech N Connect.
Today, my goal is simple: to help people better understand and use technology in ways that genuinely improve their lives, work, and businesses. Whether it’s setting up simple or complex systems, teaching someone how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, simplifying an internet service account, building a website, or organizing digital workflows, I believe technology should feel approachable—not overwhelming.
One thing I've noticed over the years is that many people feel intimidated by technology or frustrated by traditional tech support experiences. Too often, people are talked over, rushed, or left more confused than when they started. I want to create a different kind of experience—one built around patience, communication, education, and practical solutions.
At Tech N Connect, the focus isn’t just on fixing problems. It’s about helping people feel confident, informed, and supported long after the work is done.
